Chemical & Toxins Reporting (EPCRA, TURA)
Section 313 of the Emergency Planning & Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) and the Toxics Use Reduction Act (TURA) are concerned with toxics chemicals or substances that a company stores on-site, manufactures, or uses during the year. Companies that fall under certain criteria must annually determine if threshold amounts of the toxic chemicals used have been exceeded for the previous year. If so, the regulatory programs require the submission, by July 1st, of Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) and TURA reports for the affected toxic chemicals. EBI has completed TRI and TURA reporting for many industries in Massachusetts.
