Wetland Delineation

EBI has provided wetlands services for thousands of Environmental Site Assessments for both large and small projects throughout the country, including all aspects of wetlands identification, field delineation, and regulatory/permitting support. We provide national capabilities to assist our clients in avoiding or minimizing the costs of wetlands permits for project development. Our work begins with the initial identification of known wetlands and other protected areas through a desktop analysis of state GIS data layers for wetlands, certified vernal pools, estimated habitats of rare wildlife, 100-year floodplains, and the National Wetlands Inventory (NWI) Program. We also provide wetlands delineation services for federal and state-designated wetlands areas, and have successfully prepared and filed wetlands permit applications for projects which cannot avoid jurisdictional wetlands and must obtain local, state, and/or federal approvals.
