Building Safer, Stronger Communities: EBI’s Longstanding Partnership with Girls Inc.

by | Apr 14, 2026

At EBI Consulting, community impact guides how we work and who we work with. Since 2019, our partnership with Girls Inc. of Lowell MA. has reflected that commitment, growing from an initial collaboration into a fully realized campus building project and a long-term partnership built on trust, continuity, and shared responsibility that supports future generations of young women.

This partnership represents more than a single engagement. It demonstrates how EBI approaches work with clients across sectors: by staying involved over time, adapting as needs evolve, and helping organizations plan for long-term outcomes rather than short-term fixes.

A Partnership Rooted in Purpose

EBI began working with Girls Inc. of Lowell MA. in 2019, before the pandemic reshaped how organizations think about space, safety, and accessibility. What started as a straightforward partnership quickly evolved as shared goals became clear. Both organizations prioritize creating environments where people can learn, grow, and thrive, today and for decades to come.

As the relationship deepened, the building project expanded into a three-building campus rennovation / addition, funded That evolution reflects a core principle at EBI: meaningful community work rarely stays small. When organizations commit to a shared mission built on trust and shared purpose, partnerships often grow in ways that create greater long-term impact.

Supporting Organizations Through Thoughtful Development

EBI approaches nonprofit partnerships with deep respect for the mission-driven work these organizations lead every day.  Whether working with nonprofit, public, or private organizations, we recognize that decisions around the built environment have lasting operational, safety, and reputational implications.

Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach, EBI focuses on listening, collaboration, and alignment. We engage with nonprofit partners in ways that honor their vision and values while considering how today’s decisions will support future generations. This allows clients to make more informed decisions that balance immediate needs with long-term risk, compliance, and community impact.

This approach allows partnerships to grow organically. What may begin as a focused collaboration can evolve into a lasting relationship rooted in trust, shared goals, and a collective commitment to building stronger communities.

Building for Future Generations

EBI focuses on building safer, more compliant communities because the environments we create today shape outcomes tomorrow. Projects like this campus extend beyond bricks and mortar. They support education, mentorship, and leadership development for future generations while reinforcing the importance of planning environments that remain functional, safe, and relevant over time.

Even as EBI’s services evolve, our dedication to community building remains constant and well represented in our project with Girls Inc. Of Lowell MA. We continue to seek partnerships with organizations that invest in people, prioritize safety, and strengthen the communities they serve.

A Model for Long-Term Community Partnerships

EBI’s partnership with Girls Inc. shows what becomes possible when organizations commit to long-term collaboration instead of short-term solutions. By growing together, this partnership transformed from an initial engagement into a fully built-out campus designed to support impact for years to come.

Community partnerships sit at the heart of EBI’s work. Through collaboration, trust, and shared purpose,  EBI helps organizations navigate complexity, plan for growth, and create environments that continue to serve their mission well into the future.
